This is some of the best I've seen at Kilden this year. Who would have thought that a children's show that lasted almost three hours would make me say "wow" loudly when the wolf came out, clap several times along the way, get enchanted and cheer loudly? They have managed to create a magical universe at all levels. The scenography, lighting and costume were almost worth the ticket alone. The music was catchy and versatile. Clearly with references to fairy tales and Norwegian folk music, mixed with a scary undertone. I got associations for the "Anastasia" movie of the 90s, with scary but catchy songs, and a humorous and nasty villain.

Alexander Rybak's musical "Trolle and the Magic Fiddle" is a rock opera for children. It tries a lot, achieves a good part of it, and delivers full thrust on the show.

The magic fiddle is such that everyone who hears must obey. 

The Hulder King (Stig-Werner Moe) uses it to lure new wives when he needs it.

On the 24th October, among other celebrities, Alexander took part and performed at the 25th anniversary celebration of Norway's biggest morning show, "God morgen, Norge", at Akerbrygge in Oslo. 
Október 24-én Alexander más hírességek mellett részt vett Norvégia legnagyobb reggeli TV-műsora, a "God morgen, Norge" 25. születésnapja alkalmából rendezett partin Oslóban, az AkerBrygge-n.
Am 24. Oktober nahm Alexander an der Feier zum 25-jährigen Jubiläum von Norwegens größter Morgenshow "God morgen, Norge" auf Akerbrygge in Oslo zusammen mit anderen Prominenten teil und trat dort auch auf.

Als Alexander Rybak mit "Fairytale" tourte, begann er die Abenteuer von Trolle zu schreiben. Zehn Jahre später ist er bereit, auf der Musicalbühne Magie zu schaffen. Im Frühjahr 2009 beginnt Alexander Rybak die Geschichte von Trolle zu schreiben. Er möchte ein Kinderbuch mit Musik schaffen und schreibt die Songs, während er nach dem Eurovision-Erfolg mit "Fairytale" durch Norwegen tourt.

When Alexander Rybak toured with "Fairytale", he began writing the adventures of Trolle. Ten years later, he is ready to create magic on the musical scene.   "I think I was one of the first who heard the Fairytale-demo"

Alexander has told several times, he saw his friend, Jahn Dennis Storhøi actor (b. July 15, 1958, Fredrikstad, Norway) his artistic mentor.
Dennis Storhøi has had a long and diverse career to look back on, he is probably most known for “The 13th Warrior”, in which he played against superstar Antonio Banderas.

Alexander and Dennis have worked together several times in great projects that all are gathered in this post.
