Jahn Teigen was a Norwegian singer, musician and comedian, who represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest three times. He took part in the Norwegian national Eurovision final (Melodi Grand Prix), a record fourteen times.
He was recognised and beloved by Norwegian people.
Alexander has several times called Jahn Teigen his idol, role model, MGP-mentor.

It was Stig Werner Moe, future actor/entertainer colleague and friend of Alexander who parodied him as the first one after his huge victory in Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in his show "Sommerlatter" in the comedy series "Latter" in Oslo, on the 2nd June 2009.

15 years ago, the 18,5 years old Alexander signed up for the season 3 of the Norwegian talent competition "IDOL", aired on the channel TV2. The semifinal "Heat 5" was aired on the 25th February 2005.
15 évvel ezelőtt a 18,5 éves Alexander jelentkezett a norvég TV2 csatornán futó IDOL tehetségkutató 3. évadában. Az "Heat 5" 5. elődöntőt 2005. február 25-én sugározta a TV.
