With violin, vocal and self-written song, the boy from Oslo went to the top among the viewers, and ran away with 382,000 kroner. Tonight he acts as orchestra leader in Ung Symfoni (Young Symphony).

Ung Symfoni is one of Norway's largest symphony orchestras for youth between the ages of 14 and 25. Most come from Hordaland, but young musicians from all over southern Norway are present. Alexander Rybak has been involved for two years.

The orchestra rehearses one weekend a month and has spent the last two, three months on "Requiem".

After the victory in "Kjempesjansen", the offers are standing in line for the young musician. From January 31st on, he will be playing in the musical "Fiddler on the Roof" in Oslo Nye Theater, as the fiddler.

I haven't played only in Bergen before, but every summer I usually play at festivals. But I have yet to play at the "Festspillene" (referring to the annual Bergen International Festival), smiles Rybak.
