ALEXANDER RYBAK PERFORMED AT THE CARNIVAL NIGHT IN DEBRECEN, HUNGARY, 20.8.2018

Alexander Rybak performed at the closing event of the FlowerParade in Debrecen, Hungary, 20.8.2018

Alexander performed at the Grand Closing Party of the Flower Parade called "Carnival Night", one of the most popular Hungarian summer events on the country's National Day. The event took place in the Nagyerdei Stadium in front of an audience of 20.000 people.

The musical show featured the most popular productions and memorable tracks of the "Dal", the Hungarian Eurovision selection show.

He joined the heavy metal band AWS, that year's Hungarian ESC-representative in Lisbon, and performed together their song "Viszlát, nyár" (Good bye, summer). Here is the video:

He also performed his own songs Fairytale, Mom and Europe's Skies.

When he started singing Fairytale, he had to realize, there was no microphone on the stage 😳 (the previous performer took it with him by mistake).

But Alexander handled the situation professionally: calmly and with humor, and also with creativity as singing into the violin's mic. 👍You can see it in this video, and in ➡THIS one, and ➡THIS and ➡THIS one, too:

Also Örs, the singer of AWS highly appreciated Alexander's mastering of this situation. What he said to the audience after their joint performance, you can read in subtitles in the first video.

Then he of course got his microphone and did the song again - honored with the ovation of the audience: 

The video of Mom, where you can see the audience turning on their phone lights and waving, which provided a unique atmosphere in the arena. See it ➡HERE, too.

He sang Europe's Skies as the final song of the show - featured by 2000 dancers of 32 dance art groups that came to the Flower Parade from all over the world. Another video ➡HERE
